Khantex Group held a republican workshop on sowing and growing grain crops

 

Last week, the Innovative scientific and practical production center of Khantex Group LLC and Energy Seeds (France) with the support of Plant Research Institute and Andijan Scientific Experimental Station organized a republican field workshop on sowing and growing high-yielding grain crops adapted to the climatic conditions of the region.

 The purpose of this event is to improve the primary seed production of grain crops, growing and providing farms with elite varieties of seeds that are resistant to various diseases and pests.

The workshop was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Mr. U. Barnoev, specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture, scientists and representatives of agricultural firms, dekhkan and farm enterprises engaged in the production of grain seeds from all over the republic.

During the workshop participants discussed the first results of ongoing experiments on the adaptation of high-yielding varieties of wheat, corn, soybean and Sudanese sorghum, the seeds of which were brought from Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation and France. The selected varieties are characterized by high productivity, improved quality and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses prevalent in our region.

The participants of the event got acquainted with the indicators of the tested crops on the sowing areas of Khantex Group LLC in Kurgantepa district of Andijan region, got relevant advice and practical skills, discussed in detail the issues of choosing high-yielding varieties of grain crops, agricultural measures during cultivation, pest control, harvesting conditions and harvest storage.
